JPP’s status had remained unknown since having his right index finger amputated after a July 4 fireworks accident. However, he remains unsigned, as he turned down the franchise tag offer of $15 million for 2015 back in March.
The Giants rescinded the offer, but if JPP ends up signing it, he could be placed on the non-football injury list.
